Many people who know about the 1966 Shelby Cobra learned it from the movie "Gone in Sixty Seconds," about a man, played by Nicolas Cage, who had to steal several collector cars in a 24 hour period, or be killed by a ruthless gangster. But a real 1966 Shelby Cobra was sold a few years ago for more than $5 million, which was a record price for an American car sold at an auction. The 1966 Shelby

Brilliant, immediate unstoppable traction in mud, also known as good horse sense, and farmer magic
0 comments Posted by alice at 8:41 PMNow this, in my opinion, is effing brilliant. It really no-shit works, and like nothing else possibly could to add traction that can't be stopped. From http://thereifixedit.failblog.org

I never had anything made from 1973 to 1989, so I don't know. They aren't in my zone of interest. I'm betting someone ends up in the emergency room Sheesh these are lazy kids, is there anyone reading this that didn't put in years mowing lawns as a kid, before riding lawnmovers,

What makes a loud, shouty and obscenely powerful hypercar even better? Simples: make it louder, shoutier and even more obscenely powerful. This is the Agera ‘R'.
The one you see pictured above is a customer car (production number 83, since you asked), ready to make its debut at the Geneva motor show.
The car will sit alongside the production version of the ‘standard' Agera on Koenigsegg's stand, and sports a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine chucking out around 1,115bhp when supping on bio-fuel. It weighs in at just 1,330kg, a Fat Man more than a Ford Fiesta.
This ‘R' version is liveried in a ‘Speed Racer' theme, special Michelin tyres and a Thule Roof Box.
We'll bring you more from Geneva as it drops, but for now, clickety click...
Want more Agera? Of course you do. Click below to find out what happened when TG met the new Swedish sensation...

Snow, sun, sand or rain: nothing can penetrate the four-wheel-drive, four-seat shooting brake Fezza.
New footage of the FF doing its slidey thing in a variety of climes shows just how beautiful this thing actually looks away from studio images and in something called ‘World'.
There is some drifty oversteer goodness, together with the roar of a 6.2-litre, 660bhp V12. Enjoy.
Once you have enjoyed, click here for more pictures of the FF, and here to read TG's inside scoop.
Remodelling the E-Type Jag is like remodelling Joanna Lumley.
Yet somehow, Swedish designer Bo Zolland has risked blasphemy, a spell in the Tower and probably the Ghost of Enzo Ferrari to create the ‘Growler': how an E-Type Jaaaaag might look today. And it looks spiffing.
It's apparently based on an XKR complete with a 5.0-litre V8 tuned to produce around 600bhp. Then there's that bodystyle...mmmm.
Sure, it could do with a better name, but you have to admit, it's quite a design, no?
